I was making this cake for my granddaughter’s 13th birthday last weekend. Very soft and delicious cake.
You may use marshmallows, chocolate chips and raisins for the filling.
First of all, get the butter out of the refrigerator and let it stay at room temperature.
Whisk eggs with sugar well.
Add honey, baking powder and then flour, mixing well after each ingredient.
Put baking paper on the bottom of 11×8.5 inch or 9 inch round spring baking form. It will help you to get layers out safely, not braking them. I also sprinkled it with flour.
Pour half of the batter (about 1 & half cup) into each baking form.
Add some marshmallows (or raisins) in one of them, spreading them evenly and dipping them in.
Do the same with the second half, adding some chocolate chips instead.
Bake both in the oven at 350 F for 15-16 minutes each, or until golden brown. Insert wooden toothpick in the center, to check for readiness. If it comes out clean, it is ready to get out of the oven.
In a big bowl blend together cream cheese with butter. Gradually add condensed milk and beat all together until fluffy.
Cool the cake layers and spread the frosting onto each of them, arranging one on the top of the other.
Decorate the cake the way you like.
