Roasted Cabbage

1 medium white cabbage
2-3 table spoons of mayonnaise
1 table spoon of olive oil
salt, ground pepper and garlic powder – to taste


Roasted cabbage is a very simple dish to prepare.  It tastes great. It may become your favorite way to prepare cabbage.


Cut cabbage in 1 to 1 1/2 inch thick wedges .


Place on slightly oiled baking sheet.


Brush each with mayonnaise (or  just a cooking oil). Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.


Roast it in the oven at 350F for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.


Serve it hot or cold,  it is delicious ether way.
